Hypnosis does not mean surrendering your free will. When you are hypnotized, you enter a focused and relaxed state, making you more open to suggestions. However, you remain in control and can reject any suggestion that goes against your values or wishes. You cannot be made to do something under hypnosis that you would not do voluntarily. So, hypnosis is more about cooperation and focused attention rather than giving up free will.
